Making Movie History featured at DOXA

To celebrate the NFB’s 77th anniversary, Michelle Van Beusekom, Executive Director of English Programming at the National Film Board will make a special presentation of Making Movie History at this year’s DOXA Documentary Film Festival in Vancouver.

Denman worked closely with the NFB to design and build Making Movie History, an interactive documentary that houses, organizes, and delivers over 60 portraits of iconic figures in Canadian cinema, from Grant Munro to Norman McLaren. The experience, released as both a web-based interactive feature and iPad app, includes hours of exclusive interviews with the creators and innovators who shaped Canadian cinema throughout the 20th century.
