Denman is owned and operated by Sean Embury and Steve Mackey.

Their creative partnership goes back nearly fifteen years. First as part of acclaimed multi-platform and digital content teams at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, and later with National Film Board of Canada where they helped establish the NFB/Interactive platform and its initial slate of pioneering interactive documentary. In between they worked at leading agencies in the US and Canada developing innovative interactive and digital content marketing campaigns for global brands including Nike, Sony PlayStation, BMW, United Airlines, and Visa.

Since 2010 they have focused on building a studio that attracts forward-thinking clients and the world’s best talent to produce tools and experiences that connect, inform, and inspire.
